On Friday, Israeli drones, artillery, and tanks struck Lebanon after a drone was intercepted. The attacks come amid new warnings from Hezbollah and Iran that the conflict could escalate into a regional conflict.
The Israel-Palestine war has claimed the lives of over 3,200 people in both Israel and Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Israeli infantry made their first raids into the Gaza Strip on Friday since Hamas fighters rampaged through southern Israel, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said a campaign of retaliation had only just begun.
Israeli military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said troops backed by tanks had mounted raids to attack Palestinian rocket crews and seek information on the location of hostages, the first official account of ground troops in Gaza since the crisis began.
